Oscar night belongs to slumdog millionaire. It sweeps 8 awards from the 10 nominees made. A.R.Rahman have 2 Oscars in his bag for Original score and Original song.
8 Awards for slumdog millionaire at Oscars:
Danny Boyle- Best Director
A.R.Rahman and Gulzar- Best Original song
A.R.Rahman- Best Original score
Chris Dickens-Best Film Editing
Ian Tapp, Resul Pookutty and Richard Pryke- Best Sound mixing
Simon Beaufoy- Best Adapted Screenplay.
Manmohan singh(P.M for India), many bollywood celebrities congratulate slumdog millionaire team for its great achievement.

Every Indian is proud of Slumdog Millionaire unit and especially the very deserving Mr. A.R.Rahman for his yet another lovely musical record that augmented our grace at the international level. Jay ho to the talented one and all of the Indians who won the Oscars today at the 81st Annual academy awards.
